Local Roots

BEAM Community was built for neighbors by a neighbor. Showcasing local events that bring people together and strengthen our community. I do not accept sponsorships, but community members are encouraged to submit events and share what's happening.

BEAM is free and ad-free. It costs about $300 a year to keep online. If it's been useful and you'd like to chip in toward that, there's a coffee link below.

Submit an Event

I'm committed to showcasing events that are welcoming, inclusive, and community-driven. BEAM stays out of electoral politics. I don't list candidate, party, or ballot/levy campaign events, or anything religious. Community events focused on local quality-of-life and open-space issues are welcome, as long as they're open to everyone. Commercial or business-driven events are reviewed case-by-case and must either be free, open to all, and community-focused, or a very small business to be considered.
